In 46 days now I will be celebrating my 5 years of being a survivor. It has been difficult getting here. I had surgery in December and a problem with scar tissue from the mastectomy. All is better now and I am ready to just keep looking forward. When you are saying your prayers please remember the women (and some men) that are battling cancer now.

I am glad the scar tissue issue is fixed. Cancer is the gift that keeps on giving, isn't it? I had a mammo scare the other day-had to have a sono to look at some suspicious lymph nodes. All was well, but it brought the cancer right back into the front of my mind. (I like keeping it pushed back so I can pretend it never existed!)
